Kerry and Paul were married on August 14th in Chatham with a reception to follow at Kerry's family home in West Harwich. It was one of those absolutely perfect summer days on the Cape!
I had met with Kerry and Paul several months before their wedding to chat details and shoot their engagement session in Boston. They were SO excited for the big day and now we get to relive it all over again on the pages of Boston Weddings! This is a fantastic publication for any New England bride. It's out on stand now so be sure to pick up a copy!!

I was so excited when the editors at Wellwed said they were in love with our seaside inspiration shoot and wanted to feature it in their next issue! Working with their team is always exciting and such a pleasure. The magazines creatives touches and layouts always seem to add to the images and design of their features. Needless to say I was thrilled!!
This inspiration shoot was a labor of love. We all worked so hard on it and it honestly came together just as we had hoped! These types of shoots are such a wonderful learning experience. Working with new people, new locations, new challenges will only make us better at our craft. Trying new things can't always happen on the job!
You may remember the images from the moody film that Meg Simone created. I shared it here on the blog just after we did the shoot in the Spring. Here it is again for your viewing pleasure!
And now featured in the current issue of Wellwed & Vermont Vows currently out on stands.

Yay! One of my gorgeous Nantucket wedding couples is gracing the pages of this months Destination Weddings & Honeymoons! Nantucket is truly a hot spot for destination weddings and the publication did a great job highlighting the islands sophisticated charm.
This wedding was filled with gorgeous elements created by some of the islands top talents. Decor and flowers by Soiree Floral were highlighted in several of the selected images. Check out the cupcakes by Jodi's Cakes and paper products by Marty Kelly Paper. The bride looked amazing with hair done by Darya Salon and make-up by Lizzy from Beauty by the Sea.

If you make it out to Nantucket be sure to pick up one of these great little publications. It is filled with all sorts of fun decorating ideas, tips on what to do, where to eat and tucked inside is a fun little island wedding planner. This year the publisher featured real Nantucket weddings to provide ideas and inspiration to it's readers. I was thrilled to get a call from Debbie, the publisher, asking if I would be interested in having a wedding featured. Of course!! And Mel and Sparky were the perfect couple to showcase what a laid back Nantucket wedding can look like.
Thanks for including us!
It's been a long time coming but it's here! I finally got to see our fabulous strawberry themed photo shoot on the pages of WellWed magazine. I can honestly say I am blown away by the thoughtful design and layout in this latest issue! WOW!
This shoot actually took place in June of last year at a private home. It was my first experience working with the talents of Meagan from Maine Seasons Events and Sara from Griffin-vites Stationery but if you read my blog regularly you know it was not the last!
It's always a treat to work with wonderful wedding vendors like this but to also have it published in the likes of WellWed was just the icing on the cake! The "Berry Inspired" shoot was featured not only in WellWed Cape & Islands but also in WellWed New York and Vermont Vows, two of their other regional publications.
All the tiny little details that were carefully selected by Meagan for this shoot were so well displayed on the pages of the magazine. I love how Sarah's berry illustrations pop right off the page and you can truly envision what this event would look like. The layout, fonts and even that little piece of virtual tape all add to the feeling and design of the shoot. I just love how the crew at WellWed pulls it all together... Bravo! and many thanks for making us a part of the team!
It's one of my favorite times of the year... wedding magazines are hitting the stands! New issues of all my favorite annual and biannual magazines are coming out this month. I love to sit and look at every little trend, product and new design idea thats printed on the stunning pages of these publications. One of the most glamourous magazines in the country is Grace Ormonde. They publish two magazines and in their regional publication, Wedding Style New England, I have a photo in print!
They have featured the lovely cup cake tower from Meghan and Darryl's Nantucket wedding. Jodi's Cakes created this stunning tower with a mini cake top and coral sugar details. Perfect for a modern beach wedding!
I love blogs... there it is ... I said it! There is a wealth of knowledge out there on the internet and lets just say that not all blogs are created equal. I have my favorites! They need to be filled with great content, inspiring photos and be frequently updated. The Wedding Bee & Wedding Bee Pro sites have it all!! I love, love, love the wide range of professionals that contribute to this blog on a daily basis.
So can you imagine how thrilled I am to have my work featured on this site! Some of the "getting ready" images and portraits from the MyKPW shoot I took part in are featured on The Wedding Bee Pro this week.

Congratulations to Ian and Kim! Their beautiful Nantucket wedding is featured this month in Greenwich Magazine. They were married in the historic Siasconset Union Chapel with a reception to follow at the Chanticleer Restaurant. Maureen Sullivan from Nantucket Island Events worked with the couple to plan out all the details of their big day. Dawn Kelly from Soiree Floral created the elegant floral details for both the chapel and the reception.
An exciting new wedding magazine has hit the stands! I love reading and looking through all kinds of different magazines to see what the latest looks are and to get a dash of inspiration for my own work. WellWed magazine has four regional publications, Vermont Vows, New York, The Hamptons and now The Cape & Islands. I love the format of this square publication and the feel of the extra heavy pages. There are so many inspiring vendors, real weddings and DIY ideas packed into this issue.
I am also excited to see some of my Nantucket wedding couples featured on the pages! If you don't see WellWed on your news stands you can view it online as well. Happy Planning!
