Wedding Favorites of 2009

 I love the part of the wedding day when I get to work with my brides and grooms for their portraits. I also LOVE to take advantage of locations that present themselves along the way that might not have been on our "list" of spots. 

On the day of Jen and Carter's wedding the rain started to come down, really come down, just as we were heading outside for their photos. As we regrouped to head to the back up spot I asked to stop for a minute in this very quaint stretch of road. I just loved how the trees bent over the road to add a little cover from the rain. They were game so we popped open the umbrellas and they enjoyed a little stroll down the middle of street!! I love that Jen and Carter trusted me to take the time to get these photos. There is a playful energy to the shots and I just love a series when paired together like this.

I guess I just get excited when the unexpected turns into something fantastic!
