It was one of those absolutely perfect summer days on the Cape!

I had met with Kerry and Paul several months before their wedding to chat details and shoot their engagement session in Boston. They were SO excited for the big day and now we get to relive it all over again on the pages of Boston Weddings! This is a fantastic publication for any New England bride. It's out on stand now so be sure to pick up a copy!!

It was a 5 day retreat aboard a cruise ship with a group of 42 women who all work in the visual arts. Talking about the POSH experience is a blog post in itself so I will post about ALL the amazing details later... with tropical photos of course!

One of the many amazing things that came from this retreat is the following film, Women Create. Inspired by their shared experiences the group spontaneously decided to use their creative gifts to craft a short film illustrating the positive power and passion of women in the film industry. It started as a discussion one night at dinner, rolled into a concept later that night and came together as a shoot the very next day!

I was so proud to see these women take action and express their shared thoughts. It made me even a wee bit giddy to listen to them prepare for this shoot using terms Dawn and I spoke about at our presentation!

So ladies, here is your call to action! Get inspired! Go for it! And Create!

“Because of their age long training in human relations—for that is what feminine intuition really is—women have a special contribution to make to any group enterprise.” ~ Margaret Mead

42 dedicated women filmmakers and photographers.

Five sparkling days in the Bahamas.

One powerful message: Women Create.

After a wonderful sunny summer this year we slowly made our way into fall. With warm days, empty beaches and rich colorful leaves my fall family's couldn't go wrong with any of our favorite portrait spots!

We are anxiously awaiting the first snow fall to start some of our winter portraits. Fingers crossed that the next several months are equality as beautiful!!
